How to cite a website
Cite the individual page that supports your statement, rather than the website’s home page.
Find the page information
Look for the author or responsible organization, page title, website name and publication or last-updated date. Enter the direct URL.
Dates and organizations
Do not use a site-wide copyright year as the publication date unless it applies to the page. For a group author, select Organization / group in the author form. Some styles omit a publisher or website name that duplicates the author.
Access dates
An access date is the date you viewed the page. It does not replace its publication date. Add it when your style or assignment requires one.
